Ohio online and in-person sportsbooks will launch in less than two months. There are 25 online sportsbook licenses but can be increased based on certain situations while up to 40 retail facilities may be established across the state, subject to certain limitations on each county.
With this regard, the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment company has announced that it plans to build a BetRivers sportsbook at its Canton location. The resort company is teaming up with Rush Street Interactive for the venture and hopes to have the Ohio sportsbook ready in time for the start of 2023.
