In preparation for its launch in the Ohio market this January and to stay on top of the growing US sports betting industry, FanDuel Sportsbook has announced an expanded agreement with Sportradar. The extended agreement will last until 2031 and keeps FanDuel ahead of the curve with the products and services from the globally-recognized sports technology company.

Fanduel-Sportradar Deal

Sportradar and FanDuel have announced an extended partnership that will focus on professional basketball. Under the terms of the agreement, Sportradar will provide FanDuel with NBA data and additional wagering services through the 2030-31 NBA season.

This deal will give FanDuel access to Sportsradar’s live betting data, which will in turn allow the company to enhance its live betting offerings. In addition, Sportradar’s Live Channel Trading, the platform that it uses in delivering live-streaming of sports action which is approximately eight seconds faster than television broadcasts, will also be accessed by FanDuel.

This is a major coup for FanDuel, as Sportradar is a well-known provider of data related to some of the most watched leagues, like the NBA, NHL, World Rugby, and AFL. The partnership will allow FanDuel to offer a more comprehensive suite of wagering products and services to its customers. It also provides a significant boost to Sportradar’s position in the sports data market.

The deal between FanDuel and Sportsradar is just the latest in a string of partnerships between sports betting operators and data providers. These deals are being driven by the rapidly growing popularity of live betting, which has seen a dramatic increase in both handle and revenue over the past few years.

FanDuel Ohio Coming Soon

FanDuel Ohio sportsbook will go live on January 1, 2023 – the official launch of legal sports betting in Buckeye State. The FanDuel app will be available statewide to any user 21 or older. It recently secured conditional approval from Ohio Casino Control Commission and partnered with Belterra Park for Type A and Type B licenses.

FanDuel has always been a trailblazer in the world of online sports betting, and their recent deal with Sportsradar is no exception. This deal will not only add focus on the growingly popular same-game parlay market, but it will also enhance the FanDuel Sportsbook feature with specific player tracking.

This is a win-win for both companies, and it will no doubt lead to even more success for FanDuel in the future.
